TEN YEARS AGO

September 2, 2008

Today marks the 10th year anniversary of Anwar Ibrahim’s unconstitutional” sacking.

From then onwards, it is a progressing reformation movement in Malaysia.

It is a good day, and also a bad one. Whichever it is,  it is still a turning point for the nation.

Personally, I don’t trust Anwar Ibrahim.

However, I can’t deny Anwar Ibrahim’s influence which have the power to unite people from various walks of life, regardless of family backgrounds, race, religion and social status, all under one roof.

That’s Anwar Ibrahim.

I doubt his integrity, but I have never questioned his capabilities.

I have the confidence that he will be able to bring changes to Malaysia.

I forgive the sins he has committed previously, as long as that they will not repeat themselves in the future.

I wish I have a better option, but, for now, he is the best candidate to take up the post as our next Prime Minister.

    Reply to Damocles,

Ha ha… anyone has knocking my door?

I still want to “re-for-ma-si’, within the ambit of Gerakan.

Sorry, bro, for disappointing you again.

    Don’t you it’s better?

    Reply to msia,

To stay relevant in politics, and to contribute towards to the society, does not necessary for me to withdraw from Gerakan.

But for Gerakan to stay relevant in politics, Gerakan must withdraw from the BN.

So, that’s my job now. Let me continue my task, and my journey.

I fully sokong Gerakan to withdraw from BN. Rather than staying as a coward (狗熊) in BN which is a waste of time and talents of its many members, why not be a hero (英雄) and break away from BN’s oppression, supression and manipulation???

Prove to BN that Gerakan does not need it to survive and prove to the people that Gerakan means business and is willing to take that step to change for the better.

    hmmm….

For Gerakan to pull out from BN, it’s not the 1st time to hear it, even it’s from the members it self. But i really wonder, those suggested Gerakan should pull out from BN, do they ever think of the outcome or the future of Gerakan being alone? (no offend, just my doubt).

There’s a story tells : In the world of animals, Gerakan is only a small to medium in size. When the two giant elephant was fighting among themselves, blocking the walkway for Gerakan, the whole environment will be full of dust and will blur all views. At this moment, do Gerakan can really ‘look’ in detail a way to skip safely from these two giant elephant? If it’s not done very carefully, we might get hurt or even die instantly while we trying hard to get rid from them. Should we stay cool and let them finish their business, let the dust all settle down, only we cross the way?

    Just my thought.

I wish someone, not necessary from the top level, to really study and research the future of Gerakan without BN, then please share with us.

    Gerakan to withdraw from BN???
but like voiceofpolitics mentioned, the upper power / men of Gerakan refuses to do so.

alrite.so, lets take one step at a time. Why not Gerakan petition to oust UMNO fr BN? i too, read this suggestion from other political forum and although such idea might seem or sound twisted, it still has some relevancy in this context.

    Cheers!

I spoke as a panel speaker at the Forum in mandarin on 7/09/08, taking on the delicate and yet difficult middle path…

To hold fast to your rational reasoning and objective evaluation may not be that fashionable, particularly on subject like the eagerly awaiting 916!
