Throw Gerakan’s Constitution into Rubbish Bin
Throw Gerakan's Constitution into Rubbish Bin
Today, is the last day for Gerakan’s Vice President to appeal to the Central Committee, against the suspension order made on him by Central Working Committee.
A member asked, “If he is appealing to the Central Committee, do you think should the Central Committee revise the decision made by the Central Working Committee?”
Well, if the Central Committee is going to lift or shorten the suspension imposed, then they are making a very dangerous precedent to the other ordinary members.
That will mean, the minority members are encouraged or allowed to ‘hang up banners to protest’, when their suggestions are overruled by the leaders elected by majority.
That also mean the minority members are permissible to ‘threaten the party by pulling out en masse from the party’, whenever they disagree with any decision made by the leadership.
Ultimately, the Party’s Constitution has become redundant when the noise from minority outweighed the silent majority.
If this is the case, I am ready to throw the Party’s Constitution into the rubbish bin.
